Eya’s company, ECO-Bois, is the first of its kind in the MENA region to take waste wood from forests and industrial
sites, and uses a patented compressions technology to produce biodegradable pallets. This sustainable
environment-friendly enterprise creates a greener, more sustainable and diverse economy in which women can play
a greater part. She is also President of Alliance Culture et Nature, the Tunisian Association for Sustainable
Development, and Executive Member of the Committee for the Development of Tunisia’s northwest.
